Understanding the Methods

If you believe in using the right tool for a job, you'll appreciate that a job sometimes needs more than just one tool.

A large part of peak performance involves clearing unhelpful habits, beliefs and behaviours. NLP, EFT, CBT and Hypnoanalysis are powerful tools for doing just this and each one of them brings something different to the table.

Making a lasting change in your life takes time & commitment. Whilst "one-minute wonders" do occur, there is no such thing as a quick fix, especially in complicated cases such as depression and obesity. The psychotherapy and coaching tools described in this section help to reduce therapy time into weeks and months rather than years. 

These tools and methods assist greatly with stress-related conditions and are provided to supplement - not replace - conventional medical care. Reeta may require a referral letter from your doctor.

 

 

What is Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP)

NLP can be described as the universal language of the mind, body and spirit. Many enthusiasts talk of NLP as being the "Owner's Manual for the Brain". Within the context of coaching & therapy, NLP provides an elegant set of tools to examine and change the basic structure of how our emotions and thoughts affect the choices we make.

What is Emotional Freedom Techniques and Tapping (EFT)

Our bodies are made of energy and we all have an energy system that runs through us. Chakra, Chi, Life Force... there are many names for it. During a shock, upset or period of stress, the energies can become disrupted.

EFT taps into this disruption and helps with emotional realignment. If you have ever been frustrated at how rational thinking just doesn't help you deal with something, EFT will probably do the trick for you.

What is Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

CBT is an umbrella term for methods and techniques that follow the premise that you feel the way that you think in any given context. NLP is actually an offshoot of CBT, taking CBT to a deeper level within your subconscious. CBT is currently favoured by the NHS in the UK for conditions such as depression and eating disorders.

What is Clinical Hypnotherapy and Hypnoanalysis

Hypnosis is a naturally occuring phenomena that is used in therapy to help you to access the knowledge and wisdom you have stored at a subconscious level. Hypnoanalysis is a specialised and very powerful enhancement of hypnotherapy. It combines aspects of NLP with hypnotherapy to bring about change from a core level.

What is Guided Meditation

Guided Meditation is a form of focused relaxation where you gain the ability to let go of the problems and issues facing you and instead, concentrate your mind on a different aspect that helps you to overcome the problem. It is very similar to self-hypnosis.

What is Exploring Timelines?

Exloring Timelines is adapted from the Timeline Therapy™ work of Tad James and also integrates techniques from NLP.

Everybody has their own sense of time. It's one of the fundamental building blocks for day-to-day living and amongst other things, it influences thought processes with regards to organisation and prioritising.
